Privacy policy

This policy explains how Anelbras handles the personal data received through this website, in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).

1. Who is responsible for the data

The data controller is Anelbras Componentes Industriais Ltda., CNPJ 10.908.469/0001-87, Av. Vitória Rossi Martini, 1441, American Park, Distrito Industrial, CEP 13347-650, Indaiatuba/SP, Brazil. For any matter related to personal data, including exercising your rights, contact our data protection officer at anelbras@anelbras.com.br.

2. What data we collect and why

  • Quote request: name, email, company, legal name, CNPJ, purpose of purchase, items, notes and the technical drawing, if you attach one. We use this data to prepare and answer the quote and, where applicable, to proceed with the supply. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (art. 7, V).
  • Contact us: name, email, company, phone, subject and message. We use it to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering those who contact us (art. 7, IX).
  • Careers: name, email, phone, city, area of interest, message and résumé. Used solely in our recruitment processes. Legal basis: your consent (art. 7, I), which may be withdrawn at any time.
  • Browsing statistics: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics records pages visited, traffic source, device and browser type and approximate location. We use this data in aggregate to understand and improve the site. Legal basis: your consent (art. 7, I).

We do not collect sensitive personal data and do not request data beyond what these purposes require.

3. Cookies and browser storage

The site only uses Google Analytics cookies, and only after you click “Accept”. If you decline, nothing is loaded. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie preferences, also available in the footer.

In addition, your browser itself keeps your quote list and your cookie choice so they are not lost when you change pages. This information stays on your device and only reaches us when you send the quote.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell or transfer your data. It is accessed by our internal team and processed on our behalf by the following service providers:

  • the website hosting company, with servers in Brazil;
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which provides our corporate email, where website messages arrive;
  • Google (Google Analytics), only if you accept cookies.

Data may also be recorded in our internal sales management systems and disclosed to public authorities when required by law.

5. International transfer

Microsoft and Google may process data on servers outside Brazil. In such cases, the transfer takes place with the safeguards set out in art. 33 of the LGPD, such as the data protection contractual clauses adopted by these providers.

6. How long we keep data

  • Quotes and contact messages: up to 5 years, the usual retention period for commercial records.
  • Résumés: up to 12 months, after which they are deleted.
  • Google Analytics data: for the retention period configured in the tool.

Data may be kept longer only where required by law or to exercise rights in legal proceedings.

7. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the data is restricted to people who need it for the purposes above, and the forms are protected against automated submissions.

8. Your rights

At any time and free of charge, you may request: confirmation that we process your data; access to it; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; portability; information on whom we share it with; and withdrawal of consent, where consent is the legal basis. Just write to anelbras@anelbras.com.br. You may also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

9. Communications

We do not use data received through the site to send advertising or marketing emails. We use it only to answer your request.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
